Doing this was recently driving me nuts and finding instructions online was difficult. Plus, my unit is old enough that a lot of the button lettering has rubbed off. Maybe this will help you.

How to change the time on a Clarion DB125 Magi-Tune car stereo:

  • Turn on the car (or just the battery) for power.
  • Eject any CDs that may be inside.
  • Wait for the time to display.
  • Press and hold the BND button (lower left) and then press the DISP button (doubles as preset button 4) until the time blinks.
  • Use the seek buttons (<< & >>) to alter time.
  • Press BND button again. Clock is set.

How to turn off the Screen Saver function on a Clarion DB125 Magi-Tune car stereo:

  • Turn on the car (or just the battery) for power.
  • Eject any CDs that may be inside.
  • Press and hold the BND button (lower left) and then press the SS button (doubles as preset button 6) until SCREEN SAVER OFF displays.
